Baked Whole Chicken Recipe
can you quickly cook a whole chicken and than bake it?
i wonder to get a good gravy if it is possible (or advisable) to cook a whole chicken for a few minutes and than roast it to get a nice crispy chicken skin, etc. please advise (please don’t send url’s for roasted chicken recipes unless it involves the cooking part). thank you
i didn’t get the answer i was looking for before i had to make a decision.. so i boiled it for ~10 min and used the liquid for grabvy, the chicken was extremely nice, crisp & juicy, i’ll do it again
I was just looking up a French recipe yesterday, and that is exactly what this recipe calls for….
This roasted chicken takes a little preparation and a little patience. Browning the chicken before roasting it gets a little messy. The small hassle is time well spent, though; the flavor is superior to that of more simply prepared roasts.
